Message	I just would never reassemble short block without polishing the crank and replacing the rod and main bearings, they're not very expensive. You can always find a new crank if the one in the tt engine is too damaged to undersized. If you're not afraid to spend some "ched", get the tt short block and send it off to IPP (import parts pro). I hear they assemble very nice short blocks. Do what you want to do, I just wouldn't tear down a good running engine when you plan on a full rebuild anyways. There are NA guys out there that would buy your NA engine to get their Z back on the road. ------------------------------------------------- Work on your own car, and don't half ass it.
